Techniquest Trip
October 5, 2010On the 5th of October 2010, Preschool had a lovely day out in Cardiff Bay, Techniquest.
It was great fun! We had the chance to explore and experiment with science! We played with water, sounds, forces, mirrors and there was even a human sized X-ray which was great, because we got to see what all our bones look like underneath all of our skin! At the end of playtime, we were taken somewhere special called, ‘Planetarium’. This is where we sat inside a little room like a rocket and it was all dark. We could see stars above our heads and the kind lady told us a story about a little girl called, Izy, who travelled to Space in a rocket.
Miss Amy was so proud of us, because we answered all the questions about our Solar System. We remembered that the Sun is a big, ball of gas! We also remembered that Neil Armstrong was the first man to go to th the moon. At the end of the day, we had an ice lolly and before going back to school on the big, bendy bus, we saw lots of big and small boats floating in the harbour. We had a fantastic day! Students
