We as a school council are passionate about making our school a better place, that’s why we have registered for the Fairtrade Schools programme. Fairtrade supports people less fortunate than us, giving them a fair chance to make a living. That’s why we are endeavouring to become a Fairtrade school, to start this project we need a Fairtrade steering group. This group will write a Fairtrade policy for our school, sell, promote and use fairtrade products, give the whole school a chance to learn about fairtrade, promote and take action for fairtrade. If you are interested in helping us achieve Fairtrade School status contact us with the email address given at the top of this section.

We have started the Eco-Schools award programme, and one of the requirements of the award is that we set up an Eco-Committee. The Eco-Committee is looking for members who are interested in making the school more Eco friendly. If you would like to help in our goal of achieving the first Eco-School award contact us using the email address at the top of this section.

Bridgend Christian School Council Needs You!
We are collecting old CD’s and DVD’s which we can send off as a charity and receive an amount of money for(we will also be accepting console games such as, ps2/ps3, xbox/xbox360 games, wii games which we send off separately). We need to collect over 100 CD’s and DVD’s to send off. All money raised from the no uniform day and the CD’s, DVD’s, and games initiative will go to the School Council Future Project Fund, and our charity of the term, Love Russia.
All items donated need to be in a reasonably good condition and have bar codes, the games need to come with their instruction manual. CD’s that are donated must be albums not CD singles.
