All your sons will be taught by the Lord
And great will be your childrens’ peace.

Our Mission statement

“ We aim to provide a complete education curriculum with objectives relating to the spiritual, moral, social and cultural welfare of its students as well as their academic advancement, based on Biblical rather than secular principles.

We aim to provide the best possible course of academic study which will enable each student to achieve his/her maximum potential, and we aim to train our students to respect the things that God has revealed in the Bible and the world around them.”

The School is open to all who share the conviction that Christian Education is best for our children.

Our Ethos statement

Bridgend Christian School believes our ethos emerges from a desire and motivation to express Christ’s love to those whom we serve both within and outside the School.

The motivation for our mission and vision for the School comes from Christ’s love compelling believers and is therefore rooted in our faith in Christ. This faith produces a distinct heart attitude of love.

As this attitude and motivation come only with a relationship with Christ, it becomes a genuine occupational requirement that many of our staff are committed Christians, and we expect our staff to act in good faith and with loyalty to that relational ethos and to evangelical Christian standards of behaviour.

Notwithstanding this, the School is committed to diversity amongst its staff and volunteers, and will not discriminate on other grounds that are unrelated to our ethos.

We are in partnership with other Local Education providers:

Bridgend College
University of Wales Institute, Cyncoed
Open College Network.

We are in the process of affiliating with the Evangelical Alliance.
