About

Why we exist!

Bridgend Christian School started in 1986 with a small group of families who wanted their children to have a great education, but in a Christian context. The school remains committed to that same vision today, but we also have families who would not class themselves as Christian, but support Christian values.

The individualised learning curriculum that we use enables children to learn at their own pace, meaning that high flyers can forge ahead and those who struggle with learning can go at a steadier speed. The children learn in the same classroom, and it is good to see friendships form across the academic divide.

Music plays an important role in the life of the school, and many students are learning to play piano, guitar or drums.

You can read about our history and vision, and this leaflet is aimed at people who are considering Christian Education.  Our prospectus is online if you are interested in the nitty gritty of school life!
