 How can you help?
Whilst we have suitable mechanisms in place in terms of administration, marketing and prayer support, we know we need the support of a greater number of people who can bring a fresh dimension to our endeavours.
* Prayer support. We would ask you as individuals, or your Fellowship to include the School in your prayers. We ask for
* God’s blessing in the day to day running of the School
* Support and encouragement to students and teaching staff
* His wisdom in helping us find new premises.
If you would like to be affiliated to our local prayer group, please e-mail or telephone us for more details.
* Donations and Gifts
We meet our day-to-day running costs, but we need to raise more finances if we are to increase the school facilities, in particular buying or renting larger school premises.
We need your financial support please!
We are a registered charity, (Registered Charity No. 1101632 ) have gift aid exemption forms for those donors who pay tax, and have a specific bank savings account for monies raised towards a new building.
If you would like to donate or pledge a sum of money, please contact us.
* Sponsorship. Currently our school fees (£142 per month per student) cover all aspects of the school curriculum including peripheral school activities such as sports, art, music tuition and School trips. Occasionally we have families who want to continue their children’s education but hit financial hardship, or would like to have their children attend but have difficulty raising the required monthly fees.
If you would like to support such families financially, however small a monthly commitment, please do contact us for more details.
* Voluntary help in the School
Current staffing:
* 2 full time paid teachers- the Head of the Senior School, and the Head of the Junior School
* 4 part-time paid teachers
* A team of volunteer teachers who either teach specific subjects or assist as monitors and back-up to the teaching staff.
We need:
More volunteers! If you would like to help us in this way please let us know.
* Vision Group
Do you have specific talents in business, marketing, networking, or fund-raising?
Would you be willing to share this expertise within our Vision Group?
We do not necessarily want you to commit your time on a long-term basis, rather we see experts helping us on a specific project, guiding and supporting us in the right direction.
If you feel you could contribute, and share our vision for a larger Christian based school premises, then please contact us for more details.
* Administration
To ensure we comply with all the required standards, we have in place:
CRB checks for all staff
Health and Safety Policy including risk assessments
Employment Contracts and Volunteer Agreements
Child Protection and related policies
Compliance re. Fire Regulations and
All Equal Opportunities regulations
Accounting procedures compliant with requirements of Inland Revenue, and Charities Commission
As we progress towards a bigger and larger school presence in Bridgend, we are going to need more administrative staff. If you would like to help us in this direction, please let us know.
